Accommodation:-

We can presently sleep 22 in bunk beds and have one folding bed.

You are requested to bring with you sleeping bag, pillowcase and brownies may wish to bring a bottom sheet so that the sleeping bag does not slide on the mattress cover.  Your own toiletries and of course loo rolls!

The kitchen is fully equipped including large electric cooker and fridge/freezer.

Heating is electric but as from October to March 2010/2011 we are having to levy a charge of £10 per night to cover electricity in addition to the charges for hire of the bunkhouse accommodation.

Bookings

Bookings can be made either by email – bunkhouse@chirk.org  or ring Hilary on 01691 773758.. Once a date has been agreed you will receive a booking form and conditions of hire. To confirm the booking you need to return the form within two weeks together with a deposit of £40 (non-returnable). Your booking will then be confirmed.

EDUCATION PASS

We hold an education pass to National Trust properties in the area including Chirk Castle.  For Scouting and Guiding groups there will be no charge for admission.

PLEASE NOTE : There is adequate parking facilities for up to 6 cars within the ground of the HQ.  If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Provisional bookings will be accepted however the confirmation and deposit of £40 must be returned within TWO WEEKS
or the booking is deemed to be cancelled.
When you receive confirmation of your booking, please return the booking form to Chirk Scout and Guide Group
IF you require a receipt then please send a stamped addressed envelope.

The booking form needs to be received at least 4 weeks before your arrival to ensure that everything will be ready for you.

Guides, Scouts, Brownies and Cubs:- £5.25per person per night (in county) £5.75 per person per night (out of county) Day visitors visiting resident groups - Children £2.50 per head Adults £3.00 per head	All other groups (non Scouts etc.) £15.00 per person per night with a minimum hire charge of £150.00 per night. HIRE OF MAIN HALL AND KITCHEN FOR FUNCTIONS - £8.00 per hour (full hour)
